The Executive of the Alumni Association of 91Ö±²¥ (formerly the Executive Committee of Convocation until the spring of 2007) works with the College’s Office of Alumni Affairs. Its role is to support and advise the alumni office to engage alumni, community members and friends and ensure their commitment to and support of the College.
The Executive Committee of the AATC is made up of eight elected members, plus various ex-officio members of the College, including the Provost, the director of development and alumni affairs, and the heads of other alumni volunteer organizations, including the St. Hilda’s College Alumnae Association, the Divinity Associates and the Friends of the Library. Through its chair, the Executive Committee reports once a year to Corporation at the annual meeting of Corporation.
The elected members serve terms not exceeding two years, and, upon being re-nominated, may stand for re-election to a maximum of six consecutive years of service. Elections occur at the annual meeting of the AATC. A number of members are appointed as subcommittee chairs, heading groups dedicated to Nominations, Events and other areas as necessary.
